Dr. Terry P. Silke, ODDr. Terry P. Silke received his doctorate of optometry degree from Indiana School of Optometry in 1969. He served two years of active duty in the US Army, including a tour in Vietnam from 1970-1971 at an evacuation hospital. Upon completing his active duty tour, he continued to serve in the army reserve until retiring in 1996 as a LT Colonel.
In 1972, Dr. Silke spent one year as a clinical associate instructor at the IU School of Optometry. He then received a 25 year recognition certificate from The American Optometric Association.
While Dr. Silke maintains a full scope practice which includes Lasik (Affiliated with TLC), eye care for children, adults, and seniors, his primary specialty is fitting contact lenses. The more complicated the case, the more his 40 years of experience helps in getting the best fit for each patient.
Dr. Silke has a strong belief that patients eye health comes first and would be delighted to have you as a patient.
